How does it work?
Indie artists and small businesses send us samples and small products to be included in theme boxes every month. We package them up, set a release date for the boxes, send the boxes out to customers after purchase, and blog about the contributors!
How do I get a box/how do I subscribe?
We don’t take subscriptions, boxes are first-come, first-served. Since boxes are limited, the release dates will be announced on the blog, so make sure you follow us if you want to ensure nabbing a box of your own!
How does the sale of boxes work?
At the release day/time, go to the shop page, enter your email and country and hit “submit”. You’ll be taken to Paypal to make payment. If you do NOT pay immediately you will NOT be able to go back and pay. If you leave Paypal without paying the box will not be marked at purchased and it will be re-listed later so that others can have a chance to purchase it.
If you get to Paypal, but you don’t pay within 10 minutes, or if you close Paypal without paying, the box will be available for others to buy. Just filling out the form and submitting it does NOT mean you get a box. Payment must be received within 10 minutes.
You can only purchase one box per form submission. While you are not technically limited on the number of boxes you can purchase, you are limited on the number of boxes per checkout.
The boxes will only appear on the page at the release date/time, and will disappear in time to allow the next round of boxes to appear on the shop page (or when they sell out, whichever happens first).
Can you hold a box (or boxes) for me? I can’t be online when the boxes go on sale!
Unfortunately we cannot set boxes aside for anyone as this would be unfair to our other customers. We try to be as fair as possible and announce the release dates and times in advance so that people can plan to be online when the boxes become available.
Can you send me a box to review on my blog/to see if I like them?
Due to the demand for our boxes, we now only offer them to paying customers. Please follow our blog to see when they are available!

How many boxes are available each month?
The number of boxes available is dependent on the number of contributors and the number of items each contributor sends. We will now have 50-100 boxes available each month, but you will still have to be quick in order to ensure a box of your own!
Can you make more boxes?
No. We provide a limited number of boxes each month showcasing work from different artists. Each artist sends items for a specific month. The idea behind Indie Gift Box is that you are introduced to new artists, so if you miss out on purchasing a box please go visit the artists and purchase directly from them!
What box themes do you offer?
The box themes are built around the items we receive, so they can change from month to month. Follow our blog for box theme announcements!
What’s in the boxes/what are the boxes worth?
The items inside the boxes vary from month to month just like our themes! We do guarantee at least $25 worth of items in each box, though the exact value will vary.
Where do you ship to?
Due to restrictions, we only ship to the US and Canada. Please note that we are NOT responsible for any customs fees, taxes, or restrictions.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is $6.00 for all US orders, and is $22 per box for Canadian orders. Sorry, we don’t make up the postal rates!

My box was lost/damaged in the mail!
If you don’t received your box within 10 days of the ship date, please contact us immediately! If you wait longer than 20 days from the ship date to report a missing box we will be unable to replace it.
If your box arrives with damaged items please contact us within 2 days of receiving the box and we will do our best to replace the damaged items. If you wait longer than 10 days after receiving the box we will be unable to replace the items. Please note that we require photographic evidence of the damage and may require you to return the damaged item(s).
What if I don’t like what I got in my box?
We hope you love the items, but we realize not everyone will love everything we send. We do our best to provide a variety of items worth far more than what you pay, so that even if you don’t like something, you still get your money’s worth in the other items. We also try to give you hints and previews through the contributor blog features and by letting you know which designer is contributing to which box. That said, you really might end up with a box you don’t like, and for that we apologize, but can’t promise everyone will like all of the items. Let us know what you liked and what you didn’t (so we can plan future boxes better!), and consider gifting items you don’t want to a friend who would like them!
Can I get a refund?
No. Due to the nature of the boxes we don’t offer refunds. By purchasing Indie Gift Box you are agreeing to purchase a box containing 2-5 surprise items curated by us. However, if something arrives broken or otherwise damaged, please let us know and we’ll see what we can do about a replacement!
Are the items you pin on Pinterest in the boxes?
Some of them are! But a lot of our pins are just items we like, and are not items in our boxes. Follow our Pinterest to be introduced to new artists and see what styles we like, but don’t count on it for box spoilers!
